OK.... some happenings in my life the last few weeks/months

• Passed entries to the Maningning Miclat Foundation Trilingual Poetry contest (haha, I'm not sure about the official name of the contest...)
• Passed entries to the Carlos Palanca Awards for Literature
• put my PC to the test by installing Crysis... and it worked well, but the game itself is just so-so, but it looks really cool and it doesn't crash my PC
• downloaded lots of files: movies, albums, etc.
• watched some new films: Wolverine, Star Trek, and Angels and Demons... yeah, Wolverine sucks, Star Trek is awesome, and I enjoyed Angels and Demons because I haven't read the book yet
• Finished some video games: Resident Evil DS, etc
  
• invested in a business the will soon make me very rich

There you go... I'm so lazy I forget some of the things that happened... i have to blog more often...

Hey Kiddos!

Some recent happenings about me:

• joined a poetry reading event last February that was held in Powerbooks in Makati City... my first time to join such event and I was really nervous when I read 2 of my poems... yeah... but I hope to join another such event in the near future
  
• downloaded episodes of Heroes and some movies, like "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People", a Simon Pegg starrer and as always, quite funny, and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", which I have already seen lots of times before
• bought a new pair of Adidas rubber shoes... yep, it's on sale, hehe...
• played basketball for the first time in more than 2 years... the last time was when I almost torn my ACL... yep, it hurt like hell and I swore never to play the damn game ever again but... hopefully I don't injure my knees or any part of my body ever again
  
• bought a pre-owned Wii (c/o of Angie) last week... I remember last year I was dying to buy one but didn't push through... now I have one and I don't have much time to play it... yeah, life, it sucks sometime...
• turned on my PSP for the first time in more than 6 months... I'm hooked again to Patapon, which I have already beaten
• got a stockpile of books that I have bought during the last 2 months that I haven't read yet... and the book that I'm still not done with the book that I'mcurrently reading, "The General in His Labyrinth" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
• submitted a manuscript of my book to Anvil Publishing for evaluation... I hope they give it a shot
  
• still finishing IMK #30, which I will be my 2009 Palanca Awards entry for the Maikling Kwento category... it's my very first time to join but I hope that this work of mine wins
