We'll go to heaven together as one If We Were To Die Today If we were to die today, where would we go? A place beyond the stars where the sun always shows Together we would turn back the hands of time To the day we fell in love and you said you were mine. If we were to die today, would we still feel love? Could we still reach the stars from the heavens above? We could sit still and watch the comets fly And write our name across the velvet sky. If we were to die today, could we still hold on To a love that flows from dusk till dawn? Should we be apart, could we still find our way Back to each other’s arms and watch our hair turn gray? If we were to die today, could we still build together The fantasy that we once shared to each other? If death would come, I hope it wouldn’t know The place in our hearts where we always go. If we were to die today, just hold my hand And we would walk along the sand Should we cease to breathe and all is said and done We would go to heaven together as one.
