When We Was Fat (or: Patrickman's Mid-year Shenanigan)
It's already July and I'm still alive.
It's already the middle of this year and lots of things have already happened, as usual. Some (not so) significant things that happened to me as of the middle of this year: - Got meself a new digicam - Been to Baguio City twice... my first 2 times, yeah! - Got into downloading movies via torrents - Played and completed lots of video games on my PSP and GBA SP, like God of War: Chains of Olympus, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Patapon (PON PON PATA PON!), Loco Roco, Super Mario World (I have finished the game at least 15 times already!), etc. - Renewed my interest in working out (weight training) and made a vow to do it regularly (at least once a week) - Lost 25-30 pounds, thanks to working out and eating less, plus some occasional badminton sessions on the side... hell yeah! - Attended LOTS of birthday parties and got drunk on each and every one of them... the worst on my own birthday (I got so hammered that I didn't know how it ended (and I didn't get laid, no)) - Watched lots of classic and controversial films (thanks to torrents, yeah!) - Downloaded lots of songs - Got a new kick-ass LCD monitor - Said hello and bid goodbye to some people - Learned how to "float" on water - Learned that good things usually don't last long Loser-like. yes?
